Job Description
We are seeking a certified and experienced SAFe Scrum Master for a full-time, permanent role open exclusively to U.S. Citizens. The ideal candidate has a strong background in facilitating Agile ceremonies within SAFe environments and working hands-on with tools like JIRA, MIRO, Azure DevOps Boards, and dashboard creation for agile metrics tracking.
As a Scrum Master, you will support Agile teams by ensuring high-performance delivery, eliminating impediments, and driving continuous improvement across development squads and Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
Key Responsibilities

Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, PI Planning, etc.).

Guide teams on the SAFe Agile framework, values, and principles.

Use JIRA and Azure DevOps Boards to manage backlogs, sprints, dependencies, and work item tracking.

Create and maintain real-time, data-driven dashboards to measure key Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down, throughput, cycle time, etc.).

Drive collaboration across cross-functional teams using MIRO for planning, retrospectives, and visual facilitation.

Identify and resolve team impediments through coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Support Agile Release Train coordination and participate in Inspect & Adapt (I&A) workshops.

Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
-
U.S. Citizenship (Mandatory – Due to compliance or federal contract requirements).

3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in SAFe environments.

Active SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) certification.

Hands-on experience with:

JIRA and/or Azure DevOps Boards

MIRO for team collaboration and agile ceremonies

Dashboard creation and Agile metric tracking

Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant leadership skills.

Ability to coach teams and stakeholders on Agile and SAFe best practices.
Preferred Qualifications

SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification.

Experience with government or enterprise-scale Agile programs.

Familiarity with Portfolio-level SAFe practices and lean budgeting concepts.

Prior experience in multi-team PI Planning coordination.
