Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Full Stack Developer with expertise in the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js) for a permanent, full-time position available only to U.S. Citizens. The ideal candidate has a solid background in building secure, scalable, and performant web applications in the healthcare domain, with an understanding of compliance requirements such as HIPAA and FHIR.
You will play a key role in designing and developing innovative healthcare technology solutions that support patient care, provider tools, and health data interoperability.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using the MEAN stack.

Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-impact healthcare solutions.

Develop RESTful APIs for integration with EHR systems and third-party healthcare services using FHIR, HL7, and related standards.

Ensure data privacy, security, and HIPAA compliance throughout the software development lifecycle.

Optimize front-end performance and ensure responsive design using Angular (v10+).

Build scalable microservices using Node.js and Express.js with NoSQL backend support via MongoDB.

Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following Agile development practices.

Participate in peer code reviews, DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD processes.
Required Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship (Mandatory for compliance and federal client requirements).

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

8+ years of professional software development experience, including:

5+ years of hands-on experience with the MEAN stack
-
Strong front-end development using Angular (v8 or newer)

Server-side development with Node.js and Express.js

Database design and optimization using MongoDB

Deep understanding of RESTful API design, JWT authentication, and role-based access controls.

Experience working in or building solutions for the healthcare domain (e.g., EHR, patient portals, claims, clinical apps).

Knowledge of HIPAA, FHIR, HL7, and healthcare data exchange protocols.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for deployment and scalability.

Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps).

Experience with Agile/Scrum practices and tools like JIRA and Confluence.

Contributions to healthcare compliance or security audits.

Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability best practices in healthcare software.
