Job Description
We are hiring a Technical Project Manager for a full-time permanent position open only to U.S. Citizens. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in Python development, data warehousing (especially Snowflake), Flask API architecture, and DevOps practices. This role bridges technical leadership with strategic project delivery, making an impact on high-visibility projects within a collaborative and technically driven environment.
Responsibilities
Project Management & Delivery

Lead technical projects from initiation through deployment, following Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Define project scope, schedule, and milestones; manage risks and dependencies.

Coordinate cross-functional teams across software engineering, data engineering, QA, and DevOps.
Technical Leadership

Oversee API development using Flask and Python, ensuring code quality and scalability.

Drive the implementation of robust data pipelines and Snowflake-based data warehouse architectures.

Guide DevOps teams to implement CI/CD, containerization, monitoring, and deployment automation.
Stakeholder Collaboration

Serve as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Manage communication of project progress, risks, and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Lead planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and executive briefings.
Required Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship is required (no exceptions).

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

5+ years of experience in a software/data engineering role, with 2+ years in technical project or program management.

Strong experience with:

Python programming

Snowflake and general data warehousing architecture

DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes, cloud deployment)

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana).
Preferred Skills & Certifications

PMP, CSM, or SAFe Agile certifications.

Experience working on U.S. federal or state-level technology contracts.

Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure platforms.

Knowledge of Airflow, DBT, or other data orchestration tools.
